This year I am aiming to raise £2,500 for a charity called Stonewall. For that purpose I intend to run the London Marathon, complete a half Marathon in China and then attempt the Toughmudder assault course (twice in one day). I start this ridiculous challenge on the 24th April and finish on the 21st May...all within a months time. Hopefully I'll survive, but if I don't, at least I'll have bragging rights in the afterlife!! 

Stonewall help LGBT groups and individuals on an incredible scale. Scarily, sex with someone of the same sex is illegal in 76 countries, and punishable by death in ten. That means 40 per cent of the worlds population live in countries where gay, lesbian and bisexual people can be imprisoned just for being themselves. Over 400 million people live in laws which punish same-sex sexwith the death penalty.

Around the world LGBT are more likely to risk arrest, violence and discrimination for publicly speaking out against homophobia, transphobia and biphobia, than they are to have their rights protected. Stonewall want to help turn this around and help create a world where LGBT people have their right to love, and the right to life.

If I can overcome these ridiculous challenges then we can all help overcome the adversity LGBT people face in their day-to-day lives. Please donate whatever you can give for this very credible cause.
