Story
This will be my very first marathon. I'm not what you'd call a "natural" runner, and I've followed something of an eclectic training plan, but am hopeful that if I consume enough winegums and Lucozade I'll just about finish.
I'm running for FRU (the Free Representation Unit). FRU are a great charity. They provide free legal representation to people who cannot afford lawyers and who do not qualify for legal aid. The work that they do is done by volunteers in the Employment Tribunals and the Social Security Tribunals, and the people they help are often the most vulnerable in society: those who have lost their jobs, or who have been turned down for benefits. They very much deserve your support, so please donate if you can.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
