In memory of Lucy Kershaw

Story

For about the last 10 years, lucy had been suffering from a severe case of psoriasis, meanigng she was hospitalised many times to try and ease the flare ups that would leave her in great pain and discomfort. When the conventional treatments didnt work, the doctors looked elsewhere in the form of different medications. Lucy was put on an infusion of a drug called infliximab. At first, it seemed to do the trick. Her psoriasis eased and she was looking the best she had for years. Sadly, her body did not react well to this drug, causing her liver and bone marrow to die. She spent her last couple of days in agony, untill she was induced into a coma. Surrounded by her family and friends, Lucy passed away in the early hours on 21st novemeber, just 7 days before her 42nd birthday. Lucy was a bright, charasmatic and vibrant woman, who never complained even through great pain. Above all of this, she was my beautiful mother. By doing this skydive, im hoping to raise awareness for the psoriasis cause, so that other suffers do not got through the same hardships as my mum, and in the hope that more research is put into finding a cure. So, everyone, please donate! xxx
