Event: Virgin London Marathon 2016, on 24 April 2017
We offer support to all deafblind people to ensure equality for deafblind people

Story

We are running the London Marathon in aid of Sense, on the 24th April. As you may be aware this will be our first marathon, and considering how we felt after a half marathon, this is going to be a tough challenge.

Sense is a charity set up to offer support to deafblind adults and children in the UK.  Deafblindness is a combination of sight and hearing loss,  those who suffer often lack the ability to communicate or even perceive the world around them. Deafblindness as you can imagine requires aid and would be impossible to deal with alone, which is why Sense is such a great charity to raise money for. Sense offer much needed services to support individuals to live as independently as possible and integrate in their local community.

Please donate as much as you possibly can for this fantastic cause, however big or small, and we will be extremely grateful. All your donations are a huge incentive for us to train fully and complete the race in one piece. Wish us luck!
