Story

It has been over 38 years since I last committed my body to raise money for charity (sponsored swim..2 lengths Barkingside swimming pool).

This year I am finally going to resist the pub on a Bank Holiday Monday and embark on an epic journey around the Olympic Stadium in aid of The Moore Family Foundation and the loving memory of my mate Deano!

Please take this once in a lifetime (it will be another 38 years before I give it another go) opportunity to donate for an unbelievable cause set up by West Ham and my missus.

Since the Moore Family Foundation’s official launch in October 2014:
Ø  Upward of 40 schools have already benefited from the mentoring programme
Ø  7345 students have engaged with the programme
Ø  577 Year 6 pupils have received bespoke, targeted mentoring in school
Ø  1023 students have enjoyed a West Ham United matchday experience
Ø  2450 students have accessed educational workshop
Ø  4648 pupils have attended healthy lifestyle workshops and West Ham United assemblies

Ø  Treetops School in Grays, Essex, this year became the first SEN (Special Educational Needs) school to access the programme
