My very sporty brother and I are going to take part in the following running events over the next 4 months:

17th April: Lincoln 10k

24th April: Orston 10k

14th August: Newark Half Marathon

For anyone present when I attempted the 5k Pretty Muddy Race for Life and walking up Snowdon in 2014 you will understand just how much of a challenge this is for me, I had to walk after 1k of the run and cried a lot walking up the mountain! Unfortunately my brother stole all the sporty genes in our family but I'm trying to steal some back. I don't have any set time targets for the events but I will do everything possible to run the entire distance.

We are raising money for Annabel's Angels, one of the Apprentice and Graduate Association at Rolls-Royce's charities for 2016 who do amazing work in Derby. Any money raised will help support cancer patients and their families.
