Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be running the Brighton Marathon for Microtia UK.

This charity was set up to help children and adults affected by Microtia in the UK. My son Oscar was born with the condition.

Microtia is a rare condition resulting in underdeveloped or missing ears and hearing loss. It can also be linked to heart, kidney and spinal complications. It affects about 1:6000 births.

I would like to raise £1000 for Microtia UK to help them to achieve their goals! Money raised will go towards delivering workshops for children and adults affected by the condition, running social and educational events for the microtia community, funding research into hearing aid technology and publishing educational resources for parents, schools and medics.
