Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This is a combined page for my recent Morocco climb, Vietnam to Cambodia bike ride which was completed in March and my next two big challenge events.
This is my third and fourth challenge event for The Childrens Adventure Farm Trust , a charity that literally changes children's lives.
In October 2015 I climbed 4167m up in Morocco's Mount Toubkal within the Atlas Mountains in North Africa... It's highest peak. I'm no climber and have never had to deal with altitude before....it was the toughest thing I've done so far and one hell of a challenge!
In March 2016 I completed a 400k cycle ride from Cambodia to Vietnam. A challenge indeed given I hadn't ridden a bike for 22 years! It was 40 degrees and a really tough challenge I was really proud to finish.
So to the next challenge..... I am foolishly attempting to climb the Slovenia 3 peaks which is a terrifying thought! There are steep drops immediately beside the climb route and rope assisted climb which I have no experience of.
Wish my luck for this in September!
In November 2017 I will be heading to Peru to trek the Inca trail....... It's a really tough trek again but it wouldn't be a challenge otherwise!!
I'm doing all this for a terrific cause. I've signed up for CAFT and raise money to give children happiness and memories to last their lifetime and this is where I need you. I need to raise over £9000 in total for this awesome charity In the next 2 years as a personal goal which will make a massive difference to the charity and the wonderful work they do!! They need one million pounds per year to keep their doors open to children who need them.
Help me get there :)
There's also room if you want to come join me on my adventures, give me a shout or contact the charity direct. We can really make a difference together 😊
