Story

A fabulous total raised! Thank you so much everyone for helping!

We had to stop several times due to incidents and accidents - around 2 hours in total - but for good reason. One was because we were behind the rider who tragically suffered a heart attack. Awful that it had happened on such an uplifting day, but the tailback effect on us meant pushing the bikes for over 90 minutes though Pyrford.

But despite the stops it was a fantastic day and a superb experience.
Box Hill was certainly the toughest, coming as it does about two thirds around the course and soon afterwards we called into Wildlife Aid in Leatherhead for a picture.
Frustratingly, at the 80 mile mark the ride went past the Abbott house in Esher, but discipline is all and we shunned an early bath!

Another 90 minutes and we had climbed the last hill in Wimbledon and we were confident we would finish the ride in reasonable time and condition!

You’ll see that our part of the £10 million plus raised for charity was nearly £2k!

It’s brilliant to have raised that sum and thanks to everyone for giving us their support!
