I turned 50 this year and have never run further than 10k so this half marathon is a real challenge. Every penny will go to supporting local families who need help often because there are parental mental health issues affecting family life. Our support provides benefits for the whole family. As a Trustee I see evidence of the great work that these families benefit from. Our core funding has been squeezed on several fronts and we need to raise some funds to maintain all aspects of the service whilst we develop new projects with other funders.
