We provide specialist palliative care to patients in the South of Tyne area

Story

We have both decided to run the great north run this year for 'St Clares Hospice' which is based in primrose in Jarrow, which is charity reliant on its survival. The reason for this is because when our mam was transferred there in her tragic last few weeks of her life, they treat her as if she was one of there family, she was given amazing care and can safely say if it wasn't for them her last few weeks would have been a lot more uncomfortable than it was before she was admitted and due to the close attention she got they managed to prolong her life for those extra few days which we are all so dearly grateful for. So this is just our way of giving a bit back. I knew a few of my friends have had dealings with the hospice and say how good the care was, I genuinely hope noone has to experience St Clares but if they do they are in good hands. All donations are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
