I went out to Uganda, Africa, with Retrak in November 2012, and am very fortunate to be returning again in November 2014.

Retrak's primary goal is to enable street children to return to life in a caring and stable family environment, either with their own family, foster family, or by living independently in the community.

As a charity, Retrak relies on donations and sponsorships to fund their programmes. Small amounts can make a big difference! Even a small amount can help transform the life of a street child. For example:

£3 - a blanket for a child
£5 - access urgently needed medical treatment
£46 - a child’s school uniform and books, allowing them to complete their education.
