Story
We're off again! Departing on the 3rd April, Sara and I will be joining a small group of intrepid adventurers as we head for the North Pole on foot - navigating around open water, pulling our sleds across the ice and over pressure ridges, cooking our own food and putting up our own tents along the way. (And all in temperatures between -30 and -50 degrees.) There is no doubt that this is our most ambitious expedition to date, but as we haul our tyres across the Surrey and Sussex countryside in preparation for the trip, we'll be greatly encouraged by the knowledge that it's all for an incredibly important cause. Please help us raise as much cash as possible for our local children's hospice "Christopher's", who under the umbrella of Shooting Star Chase offer respite care to life limited children in London, Surrey and Sussex.
Short of coming with us to pull our sleds, there are many different ways for you to join in and help us on our way - you can find out more at www.strolltothepole.co.uk and follow the tweets @long_flat_white
