Transaid Christmas Appeal 2013

Dear Friends of Transaid,

The holiday season is coming! This year is Transaid’s 15 year anniversary and we are hoping to raise £15,000 to commemorate this occasion.  Your donations will help Transaid provide the vital and life-saving access to transport that many do not have.   

Timely and affordable transport is essential!  Your help enables Transaid to lower maternal mortality rates, support livelihoods and increase road safety across Africa and the developing world through its many innovative and community-led transport solutions.

Throughout its 15 years Transaid has already accomplished many achievements. 10,000 pregnant women have been safely transported to health facilities, over 2000 people have been trained, in Tanzania, through the Professional Driver Training Project and bicycle ambulance programmes have been successfully launched in 2 countries.

However, there is still much more that needs to be done. You can help Transaid expand and develop more successful live-saving projects!
