Fundraising for The Swedish School in London
Story
Dear Current and Alumni Parents and other friends of the Swedish School in London,
We are a group of Dads, who’ve taken the initiative to start ’The Turf Society’ - with the sole purpose of raising funds to help our school to offer better outdoor conditions for our children.
As happy as we are with the school’s academic and creative offerings, we have become increasingly ashamed with the muddy pitch, which our children use both for sports and general recreation.
Our plan is therefore to establish a maintenance-free astro-turf pitch. The pitch will allow for a multitude of outdoor activities for our kids.
The cost of this project is app £70-80k. The School’s Board has kindly agreed to pay £30k / match our contributions. We, as parents, will aim to raise at least £40k by June 6th.
The purpose of this letter is to invite you to become member of The Turf Society already today by donating at least £50 to The Turf Society's account with the Swedish School via the JustGiving platform.
For each donation of £300, you will get 1 personalised engraved brick, which we will integrate into a wall on the school grounds. Each brick fits up to 2 x 15 characters (incl. spaces and punctuation). Please include your brick text in the message field as you register your donation on this site.
This is a perfect opportunity to leave a personal legacy at the Swedish School in London for generations to come!
