Story

On October 8th 2015, we welcomed a beautiful son William into the world at 11:12am.  We spent 2 blissful days with him in Burnley General, where he was treasured by his family & friends, including his besotted brothers & sister.  We knew nothing of Williams illness & he happily cuddled & slept in mummy & daddy's arms.  He was fed & changed by his proud mummy, & admired by the staff.  We will treasure these memories forever & wouldn't change having him for the short time we did than not at all, despite the heartache losing him has caused.

2 days later when ready to be discharged, doctors picked up a problem with William & he was taken away from us.  A very serious heart problem called Ebsteins Anomaly was diagnosed & our baby was sent to Alder Hey.  Doctors tried overnight to improve Williams condition, but they turned his machines off in the morning as he could not be saved.  William took several peaceful hours to pass away, during which time he was held by his heartbroken parents & his brave big brother Oliver.  William has joined his brother Alfie in heaven, where Uncle Mark is looking after them.  James & I must believe he is happy there & be thankful for the wonderful life we have with each other & our 3 beautiful children.

People are devastated for us & don't know how to help.  If donating to this great cause in Williams memory will help us all, then please do this.
