Story
Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In April 2007, my dear niece Laila Salehzehi was killed in a tragic drunk driver accident at the young age of only 23. My brother and sister in law set up this charity to keep Laila's memory alive and to continue the great work that Laila was so passionate about, promoting and helping under-privilaged children around the world, especially in her native home, Iran. As Laila's uncle I'm doing my part by cycling over 100km (65 miles) in the area where I live in Canada (Niagara region) with the aim of raising $2000 in suport of the Laila Salehzehi Charitable Foundation (particularly in support of the girls' school that the charity is building in Iran). I've been training all summer and will do the trip on Saturday 24th of August with a good friend of mine.
