My three kids aged 11, 9, and 7 took upon themselves to raise £1,500 for the Little Heart Project barely 5 months after the death of their ant (my sister Firdawsa Aideed) whom they adored. The went to the streets cafes and even convinced their respective schools (Norwood Green Infant School set aside one day as a special day for Little Hearts). They meet their target in a very short time. The Amount £1,500 is enough to undertake surgery for a single baby with congenital heart disease CHD.

The beauty of the project is in its emphasis on sustainability whereby local professionals are trained to undertake the operation in especially set training camps.
