Amelia experienced the impact of cancer when one of the Mum's I work for lost her battle with the disease in October 2012, after only a short time living with malignant melanoma. At the young age of 36, Charlotte Lamb left behind her beautiful daughter Florence, then aged only 21 months, and also her husband David.

Amelia has watched little Florence, now aged 3, grow up with her Dad, and seen her adapt to life without her Mum, which is of course not an easy thing for a child of this age, with little or no understanding.

Whilst we cannot bring Charlotte back, Amelia wanted to do something to help others who are experiencing life changing issues due to this incredibly evil disease. She is the most big hearted 12 year old that I personally have the pleasure of knowing, and I am so very proud of her.
