On 2nd of August I am doing a 15,000ft skydive in memory of my best mate John. Anyone who knew John knows what a amazing guy he was. He had a tragic accident on 19th December which resulted in him fighting for his life for 17 days in waltons horsley critical care unit. Myself and Janet spent many hours daily at his bedside with his family, including all over Christmas. The staff were amazing there. Nothing was too much trouble for them and John had the best care we could of wished for. Watching my best mate lose his battle was the hardest thing ever and that 17 days was the hardest and longest of my life. Watching the suffering his family went through was also heartbreaking. Walton are raising money to provide accommodation for family's like johns who want to be close to their critically ill relatives. This is a fantastic cause, which hopefully none of you will ever need. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Please give generously if you can x
