I want to help Chris's brother and 2 of his best friends raise money in his memory.

Chris was a close friend of mine from school and even though I'd mostly lost touch with him over the years he was the sort of person who will always be remembered for many things, especially his hilarious personality, mannerisms and catchphrases.

Please give to this great cause, one I fully support but also one that has been chosen by those close to Chris. Steve, Alex and George said:

We're raising money for a charity that encapsulates Chris's love of wildlife and adventurous places: the World Land Trust (www.worldlandtrust.org). Chris loved all kinds of wild animals, in particular primates such as gorillas and chimpanzees and he went to incredible lengths to see them in their natural environment.   The WLT directly tackle the biggest threat for endangered species like these - loss of habitat - and I know Chris would have approved.

I was aiming to run a competitive time and would have been willing to take time based donations but since a recent injury playing football I am now just aiming to finish my first marathon.
