Story

Hi, After completing our 75 mile off road cycle ride from London to Brighton we thought we would  commit to another challenge. So whilst everyone had forgot how much 'fun' we had cycling at 7 am on a Sunday morning, we signed up to cycle 250 miles from London to Paris this September.

Last year we were over-whelmed by the level of support and we were able to make further donations from Harvey's memorial fund to local charities supporting children and their families, as well as to our nominated charity Zoe's place

We are raising money in memory of our beautiful son Harvey who tragically died in 2011 aged 7.

Since his death we have received many kind contributions to his memorial fund that has enabled us to make donations to local charities. We have focused on charities that are helping  ill children and families who have suffered bereavement and we want to continue this work in his name.

From our own experience we saw first hand the lack of resources available for people who suffer bereavement and also the struggle many charities have to raise funds.

One of these charities is Zoe's place in Coventry. They offer care to children with life limiting or life threatening illnesses. Karen and I have visited the hospice and seen the excellent work they do.  Although our situation was different in that we lost Harvey very suddenly it is easy to appreciate the massive difference they are making to both the children and their families.

The hospice needs to raise over £800k per year to be able to support as many families as possible and any help you can give would be gratefully appreciated

Thank you

Bryan & Karen
