As I'm sure you're all well aware, my precious, baby boy Zach sadly contracted Meningococcal Septicaemia in March 2008 when he was just 6 1/2 months old. This horrible disease took him from us in a matter of hours. No-one or nothing can prepare you for this kind of event and it takes quite some time and a lot of support before coming to terms with it. 

Meningitis Now in their own way, were there for us, supporting us in ways no-one else knew how to. This charity is a merge of Meningitis Trust and Meningitis UK and you can find out more about their work by clicking on www.meningitisnow.org

This August would have been Zach's 7th birthday! It's so hard to believe at times that he's been gone almost 6 1/2 years. If you know me, you'll know I enjoy giving a little back to those that have helped along the way (if you don't, you soon will ;-))
