Cancer is something that affects everybody in some way, shape or form and has affected my family in a number of different ways and as some of you may know my auntie tragically lost her 26 year old stepson to the disease just before Christmas 2011. So I decided to do something to try and raise money for a cancer charity. I am running the Bupa Manchester 10k on the 20th May 2012, this will be a challenge for me as i struggle to run to the bottom of the street never mind 6miles!

I feel there is lots of emphasis on womens cancer charities and not enough on men's and thats why I decided to do the 10k for Everyman Male cancer (http://everyman-campaign.org).

So please give as much or as little as you can, in the words of tesco 'Every little helps' :)
