Story
In 2012, our family friend Ethan Thomas sadly passed away aged 11. I had grown up knowing Ethan and his twin brother Tré as our parents have always been close friends. Ethan died suddenly due to a severe reaction brought on by an allergy to nuts. This allergic reaction is known as Anaphylaxis.
After seeing my Mum run the London Marathon 5 years ago, I have always aspired to do the same. As I turn 18 just over two weeks before this years Virgin Money London Marathon, I am finally able to run alongside my Mum in memory of Ethan.
We hope to raise awareness regarding how severe allergies can be as well as £2000 for The Anaphylaxis Campaign - a charity who do valuable work in providing information and support to families affected by allergies. Any donations would be hugely appreciated.
Thank you :)
