Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our son and brother Richard was born in November 1986 and diagnosed with the muscle wasting condition Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, four years later.  He died aged just 20 in February 2007.

We undertook a bike ride from  Sandy, Bedfordshire (leaving on June 5th, and arrived in Malmo, Sweden on June 13th 2014) in memory of Richard and to raise much needed funds for the DFSG, who do amazing work supporting families affected by Duchenne.

Please help us give something back to a charity that were a lifeline to us and to many other famililes affected by this devasting condition.

Please visit www.dfsg.org.uk via the link opposite to find out more about the Group's activities.
