Genesis Trust is Cyclescheme's nominated charity for this year and they asked us what we could do to help.  I said I would fundraise.  They have asked me to run the marathon.

The work Genesis do really helps people who are at risk in Bath, predominantly people affected by poverty and hunger.  These include people who have 'fallen through the net' and end up sleeping rough and in need of food, shelter and clothing.  Individuals and families in housing crisis are also helped, there is free/ discounted furniture on offer plus a food-bank.   Reliant on small donations, there is a constant need for funding for this type of charity.

This is just some of the work that the Genesis Trust do, and I would love to raise £5k for them.  I will be covering the cost of my race entry and related costs, so your kind donations and related tax relief go direct to the charity.
