In memory of Christopher Monks
We provide respite and end-of-life care to children with life-limiting conditions

Story

On August 17th, despite our uncontrollable fear of heights, my sister and I will be climbing the o2 Arena (millennium dome)... in memory of Chris Monks and Jack Webster who we have both recently lost. The money I raise will be going straight to Claire House who deal with the individual and families of young adults and children who have life threatening and life limiting conditions... and had Chris survived past the life support machine being switched off, it would be the charity that would have helped Chris and the family with coming to terms with the brain damage he would have faced.

We will be doing the climb on what would have been Chris' 24th birthday weekend, and on the 20th, Andy Monks, Chris's dad, will be swimming the length of Loch Lomond (24 miles)... so any sponsorship for Claire House will really be appreciated.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated, and hopefully my sister and I will conquer our ultimate fear...

Thanks You for your time and donations.
