Story

RUN FOR DAVE

                                  (Over 220 miles)

My brother Will and I will be running from Trevone, Cornwall to the Milford Community Centre (over 220 miles) in memory of our brother David (aged 25), who died in a tragic accident just 6 months ago. We are naturally devastated, but are keen to channel our energies into something positive. David was an extremely talented film editor with a passion for travel and adventure.

We will be raising money for two charities. One to fund an award for ‘up and coming’ film editors, at Brighton University. Each year the chosen student will receive the ‘Dave Thomas award’, along with money to spend on a piece of equipment to enhance their career. Second being the brain injury association, ‘headway’. Both very worthy causes!

We will be arriving at the Milford Communtiy centre at midday on the 23rd of August. There will a BBQ, cakes, craft stalls, live music and a raffle. It would be great to see you all there!!

The brave do not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all’
