Story

I'm running the St Alban's Half Marathon to raise money for Glencoe Mountain Rescue.

A truly great friend, Shaun Bowden, died in a fall in the Scottish Highlands whilst we were walking earlier this year.

A small group of us that were with Shaun moments before his fall had to get in touch with the the Glencoe Mountain Rescue team.  They were awesome (and so easily could have been judgmental).  Despite being unable to bring Shaun home safely, the team were fantastic and put their own lives in danger to rescue a complete stranger.  I have nothing but admiration and thanks for the team.

All of this from an organisation propped up by charity!  Please dig deep and show these guys how much they are appreciated.

The money raised will help ensure that others can receive the same support when in trouble as we all did!
