I am asking people to sponsor  me in memory of my father in law john who sadly lost his life at Walton 4 weeks ago. He was not only a wonderful man but like a father to me. Jo's family and myself went through hell for 17 days at Walton, sitting in a visitors room for upto 10 hours a day with no comfort at all. We all survived on takeaways and toast and barely any sleep. Walton are raising money to fund a 8 bedroom unit for families just like ours, so that loved ones can have a sleep and a shower and use cooking facilities whilst staying close to their loved ones. We would of benefitted massively from this and believe it is a fantastic cause and very much needed to take some of the pressure off these families face every day. You never know when you will need this fantastic unit and we're very lucky to have this on our doorsteps. Please help us give something back to these angels for all they did for us all and john.
