A Papworth research team has developed a new technique that has significantly increased the number of hearts available for transplantation; the development of which relies solely on charitable funds

Story

We saw this headline 4 years ago and decided to do something about it. We have developed a new technique of reconditioning hearts from "non beating " donors in order that they can be successfully transplanted. This type of transplantation is not funded on the NHS and relies completely on charitable donations.
