Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Most of you visiting this page will know why you're here. To those that don't, well I lost my wonderful big sister Paula to a long and courageous battle with cancer in May of this year. In the final weeks of her life she was cared for by the good people at the Pembridge Hospice in west London. The medical care & spiritual support that Paula received there was both moving & reassuring for us all.
The excellent basic care at Pembridge is funded by the NHS but the additional services - many of them voluntary - are entirely funded by charitable donations. You can read more about Pembridge here - http://pembridgehospice.org/our-work/
In order to give something back for the care & support that Paula (& her family) received at Pembridge, I'm dusting off my trainers and I will run the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon in London on the 9th October. If you can support me via a donation that would be wonderful - I really appreciate it. Rest assured your donations are going to a very worthy cause.
A big thank you from the Ryan & McDermott families.
