Story
UPDATE: 02/09/2016
Absolutely gutted... Somewhere along the line, there has been a mix up with Anthony Nolan/GNR and messed up my application for the the Great North Run and I am no longer entered this year. Nobody is more disappointed than me, was really looking forward to it!
So not to waste all the training, I have entered myself in the Manchester Half Marathon instead on 16th October. Same distance and same charity and for the same boy #DJ
Please read below reason
As you a lot of you will know we sadly lost 1 of the best men Ive have ever known and had the privilege of calling him my best friend.
Over the last few years there has been some great fundraisers and we have raised a lot of money in memery of this great man for different charity's close to our hearts.
This year ive decided the do the Great North run in Dans memory, which is personally my toughest challenge yet. I'm not built for running and to be honest I hate running. So to do a half marathon will be a big achievement for me. I aim to do this in under 2 hours.
As always the support of you guys and the totals we have raised in memory of Dan show how much love and respect we had for him.
I would appreciate it if you can give any donation at all no matter how small. Antony Nolan is a fantastic charity as I'm sure you will agree.
Thanks again for your continued support.
Fingers crossed I do it without passing out 🙂
Cloughy xx
