Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Anyone who knows me will know that I like a wee drink now and then, so the decision to give up alcohol for the whole of October was definitely going to be a challenge.  Every weekend in October was filled with some sort of event so this made doing it even more challenging!  I had been looking into volunteering with SAMH to raise money and awareness of mental health issues because twice in the last year I have seen the devastation suicide causes.  The focus is now on family and friends trying to rebuild their own lives but the word 'why?' is always lingering.

This challenge might not be at the extreme end of 'challenges' but it is a personal challenge that I am determined to see through.   So, dig deep into your pockets and help me be hangover free for a month!

Any donations big or small are welcome :)

Thank you xxx
