Story
Karen and I are running the Great North Run in memory of my nephew Euan Clark. Euan was born with a rare heart condition called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). After numerous open heart surgeries, procedures and medicines Euan sadly lost his fight and passed away in PICU, Freeman Hospital, Newcastle on 27th April 2012 (only aged 18 months). He was urgently waiting on a heart transplant but sadly necer came on time.
My family are passionate about raising money for Yorkhill. I know money is tight for everybody but it would be very much appreciated if you could spare some change for this amazing charity that tried their best to keep our boy here long enough to get a heart. unfortauntely it wasn't to be but raising money may help another family keep their baby safe and healthy.
