We support research and people to stop epilepsy deaths

Story

Hello my wonderful friends and family. This year I am running in the British 10k London Run on the 13th July 2014 for Sudden Unexplained Death in Epilepsy or SUDEP. Since moving away from home, we have become friends with a wonderful family called the Burns. Tragically they lost their son Charlie to SUDEP in October 2011. Please read their story on Facebook at www.facebook.com/CharlieFarleysSUDEPAwareness

Since then, they have raised money and awareness to SUDEP, so why am I asking for your support in the form of donations?

In 2012, my beautiful son Liam was diagnosed with Benign Rolandic Epilepsy or childhood epilepsy, after a seizure. Liam had an appointment within three days to have a brain scan to test for epilepsy. Normally these appointments can take up to six weeks once a referral has been made. We believe the Burns family campaigning for SUDEP awareness allowed an early diagnosis and changed procedures at our local hospital. This is my way of repaying them.

Please, please sponsor me. Thank you.
