Story
Thank you for visiting the Malcolm Whales Dorset 2011 fundraising page.
If you are making a donation could you please include the name and school of the person you are sponsoring.
This is the fourth year we have completed the Dorset sponsored walk in memory of Malcolm Whales, Malcolm was Damien Whales' Father who sadly past away in 2008.
Malcolm was only 55 years old when he died form bowel cancer. He was a man who was full of life and always tried to enjoy everything to its maximum. He tragically did not get to enjoy his life for long enough and those close to him will miss numerous years of shared happiness.
Those of you who have been affected by Cancer will understand the cruel and ruthless way in which it does not discriminate between its victims. The knock on effect is maybe most devastating for all who knew and loved them. The Malcolm Whales Foundation is a new charity created in 2012. The Charity is raising money for Childrens Cancer and Bowel Cancer.
Over the last three years we have achieved amazing success raising over 35,000 in 3 years. Each year i am trying to increase the number of students that take part. This year we had just under 100 people taking part and hope to raise to in excess of £15,000.
This year there were 4 schools taking part, Ely College, KES Kings Lynn, Lealands Luton and Prince William School.
Thank you very much for your support.
