Story
Thank you for looking at my page.
Dylan was born with a serious plumbing problem with his heart and he needed a series of procedures that were carried out in Bristol Children's Hospital. During the seven weeks he was an inpatient, Owain and I stayed just around the corner, in the Ronald McDonald House Bristol. This facility was an absolute godsend during one of the toughest times of our lives.
The house was originally bought by McDonalds (hence the name), but it does not receive any funding from them to continue functioning. The house is run by a great team of people, who provide support and a clean place to stay for parents of children in hospital. The staff fundraise all year to ensure the house keeps running.
As you know, I'm not a great fan of running, but, a good friend of mine, is also running to raise money for the Children's Intensive Care Unit in Cardiff, following the death of her son. If you would like to support her also, please search for Natalie Edwards (in memory of Griff).
Thank you for your support.
