EMU TRANS PENNINE CHALLENGE

From 2 to 5 July, East Midlands Universities Officers’ Training Corps will be cycling the entire 215 miles of the Trans-Pennine Trail and will be collecting for the following good causes.  Firstly in memory of Officer Cadet Stuart Tyrer, who tragically died while climbing on Snowdon earlier this year, we will be collecting for the brave men and women of Mountain Rescue (England and Wales).

With about 160 expected to take on the challenge, and the total distance cycled being about 250 miles which includes mileage to and from our campsites, we expect to be one of the largest groups who have ever taken on this challenge.  Two pairs of cyclists will also be completing the distance on tandems.  This is a worthy challenge and an event that we will remember for the rest of our lives, so please support us and our challenge and please give generously to our charities.  Thank you very much.
