Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Well they say a walk is good for you but hopefully my walk will also help many others.
I am taking part in the Stonehenge to Avebury Challenge on 7 September 2013 when I will walk 26 miles. I will be starting my trek at the world famous Stonehenge and finishing at the iconic standing stones at Avebury.
I am hope to raise funds for the Alzheimers Society which can be used to help improve the lives of people with dementia, their families and carers.
As most of you will know this is an illness very close to my heart. I lost my dear mum Dorothy to this awful disease at the age of just 67. My mum was diagnosed with early on-set Alzheimers in her late fifties.
