Story
Riley Lewis sadly passed away on 4th may 2013.. on his 2nd birthday. We've supported the childrens heart federation so far in his memory but want to give something back to those that have helped us after losing him.
Riley was a happy little chappy, that had so much energy and therefore we as his family are taking on sporting challenges (me, his mummy being the most unfit!!)
When Riley died it left us all in complete and utter shock and still now we question why.. he had a congenital heart defect but never did we think it would take his life, and at such a precious age of only 2.
Nelsons Journey are a local charity that support bereaved children, at the time of my little boy passing away my little sister was 12 and my little brother was 11.. no one should have to go through what any of us did but for them at their age they coped brilliantly but not without the support of Nelson's Journey- providing counselling, youth clubs and a residential.
So for us to say thank you and also to help another child that may be going through what they did we are taking on the challenge of cycling 120 miles.. From norfolk and norwich.. to addenbrookes.. to great ormond street as Riley was under these 3 hospitals. The dates are to be confirmed for May next year but will be over two days
