Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am taking part in this worthy cause in memory of a very special person I took the pleasure in knowing.
Adam Skinner was a great guy. I first met him in the year 2000 when Gareth and I first started going out. As the years progressed, Adam became a piece of the furniture in our household. That piece of furniture moved with us to every place we lived in. Whatever the weather he would always want to help us move. No matter how annoyed he got, he would still plough through with the odd "Shut up Jones and just lift the f***ing sofa". he seriously was a top guy and even though we had our ups and downs, deep down I loved him and knew he'd be there for Gareth always.
When our Aimee entered the world he was over joyed. He loved spending time with her and occasionally babysat for us. He joked she was the only one who understood him! Probably the similar height and that :)
On the 9th September 2012, he sadly passed away in a road accident. The emptiness that surrouned his family and friends completely took over and the shock was heartbreaking.
This walk is for Adam. The scorebox is for Adam. His memory will live on and he will be remembered by everyone who knew him.
I know and can appreciate that in this current climate, it may be hard to dig deep. However, if possible, please donate what you can afford. As Tesco would say "Every little helps"
