Story
On Saturday 30th March 2013 my brother in law died suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 35 as a result of his epilepsy. Dan was a loving husband to my sister Jo, a fabulous father to my niece Jessica as well as his older daughter Sophie, a great brother to Michael, Nicki and Kim and a much loved son of Sally and Doug. He was a friend to many and was only too happy to help all those he cared for in anyway he could. He lived for his family, friends and building a successful business.
In the last 6 months I have taken up running as a hobby and I wanted to do something which would be a real challenge in Dan's memory. So I have decided to run a 50km Ultra Marathon on Sunday 11th August 2013 in Salisbury, Wiltshire in his honour. I have never attempted anything of this distance before but I plan to use the next four months to really train hard in the hope of finishing the race in a respectable time.
I wanted to do something not only to raise money but also promote awareness of what impact eplilsey has on people's lives. I am therefore raising money for the charity Epilepsy Action.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my page. Any donations you make would be greatly appreciated. Graham
