Story

My best friend's Dad died from Cancer a few years ago now.  In the last few months of his life, the Weldmar Trust Hospice in Dorchester gave David Pain excellent care and supported his wife (Linda) and children - Humphrey, Lucy and Oliver through this horrible time.

Even though I am a proud Yorkshire Man, some of the most important and best years of my life were spent in Dorchester, Dorset and this is my way of giving a little something back to the community, people and friends who made me in to the person I am today(!), as well as saying thank you to the Weldmar Trust for helping my best friends family.

We all know some one who has been affected by Cancer.  You can see the excellent work that Weldmar Trust do here: http://www.weld-hospice.org.uk/about-us

If I achieve my fund raising target of £750 I get my race entry fee back (£185).  If this happens I will donate this to Weldmar Trust as well.
