After nearly five years of conflict, 12.2 million people, nearly half of which are children, need humanitarian assistance. The violence has forced 7.6 million people from their homes within Syria and almost 4.2 million people have fled as refugees to neighboring countries. Many families lack access to clean water, warm shelter, and appropriate food. Basic services, such as healthcare, water and sanitation have been disrupted. Opportunities for work have reduced and prices are rising rapidly. Displaced families have often moved multiple times across the country, others affected by the crisis may be stuck and not able to move at all.

I will be walking 50 miles, through the night and into the day, in the hopes that you will sponsor me to help raise money for the Refugee crisis. Anything, no matter how big or small a contribution will be greatly appreciated. Absolutely 0% of the funds raised will go towards training or activity costs - I have covered all of those out of my own pocket.
