We provide a safe place & support to prevent youth homelessness

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page! We really appreciate it.

We know people usually scan over these pages when they are shared on social media, but we're relying on friends and family to know how close to our hearts this cause is, and so take a second to have a gander.

A brief explanation of what we are actually doing:

HANNAH & RYAN will be braving the streets of Sheffield & 'sleeping rough' for one night on the 20th May! - We believe this is the least that we can do to support those who are living this as a reality.

As you may know, Hannah already works for a housing & homelessness charity - every day she is talking to people who are struggling with housing, debts, mental health and a whole host of other issues. One of the hardest conversations that she can have, is when she is talking to young people who are experiencing homelessness. They may have had a relationship breakdown, a family breakdown or have their own internal battles, but often the support available, can be minimal.

So we have decided we would like to not only raise awareness of these issues, but also to raise money for a local charity who provides shelter, support and life skills to young people in Sheffield. The work they do is essential to these young individuals - providing them with an environment enabling them to succeed and preventing them from becoming entrenched in rough sleeping.
