Story
I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year. Please join the fight by digging deep and sponsoring me - it's quick, easy and totally secure.
My beautiful, funny, clever, courageous sister-in-law, Susan, sadly passed away from breast cancer in November 2014. At the age of 31, she was far too young, and left behind her loving husband (my brother, Simon) and my gorgeous niece, Ava, aged just 2 when Susan died. Although she fought the disease for 4 years, the strain of breast cancer she had was rare, which meant there hasn't been much research into how to treat or cure it. I hope that the money I raise will help expand and continue the wonderful work which Cancer Research does, to prevent others from being taken far too early. Plus I'm sure Susan will be having a good laugh at us all covered in dirt trying to run in the mud!
Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner.
