Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

When we get married on 9th May 2015 we are encouraging our friends and family to donate to one of our chosen charities - The Rainbow Centre or CHICKS - instead of giving us wedding presents.

We have selected this charity because Derek's nephew Stevie Graham, a talented chef and photographer based in Sri Lanka, intended to cycle round Sri Lanka to raise money for this charity to help disadvantaged children have a better start in life.

Unfortunately, on 7th February 2014, Stevie's ambition was cut short. Whilst visiting friends and family in England, he was sadly involved in an accident that he was unable to recover from.

To honour and support Stevie's ambition, we are encouraging our friends and family to donate to the Rainbow Centre, a charity that provides education, welfare & loving support to children living in extreme poverty in Sri Lanka.

If you would like to help, please give generously so we can put smiles on the faces of many young children by giving them the start in life they deserve.

Thank you for reading and wish us luck!!
