When Ian died of a stroke at the age of 48,Ian's family set up to raise funds for CHSS in Ian's memory.

Ian had been a work collegue of mine for over 20 years as well as a good mate  over the years-sadly missed.

This will be my 7th half marathon in total although it should be no.8 but have struggled with a knee injury since I completed the reat Edinburgh Run  in april,having to withdraw  from the emf half marathon in may.

I have been"back on the road" for the last few weeks,now thankfully with little pain going into the race in less than 2 weeks time.

There have been many family and friends who have sponsored me over the ast 4 years since I began running and more importantly for charity.Can I  ask that you do so again in Ian's memory for CHSS.
